Moved in!

This was a big weekend for the Myers family, we moved back in! Ok, so the house wasn't really move-in ready mid-week prior to the weekend, but Adam and crew worked hard to get at least one working bathroom and to complete the master bedroom (we didn't remodel the Lucy and Betsy's rooms, so those just needed to be cleared out since they were used as storage, and dusted). The Merry Maids came over Sat AM to help clean up, and we made the move Sat afternoon after naps. We cooked dinner at home Sat and Sun. Mark took Monday off from work to celebrate Columbus day of course, but also to help unpack boxes and move things around so the workers can continue to finish things up. This week (week of 10/10) will be very busy with workers around, but by the end of the week, we should have all electrical done (eg lights in all rooms, power outlets, TV/Internet back-up etc), and all bathroom plumbing fixtures hooked up. Also, the railing on the deck is being finished, so we can finally let the girls walk out there! Enjoy the new pics.

After a 3 hour re-installation, we now have all the Internets back-up! TV and phone should be wired by Tues.

Speaking of TV, it's now on the wall with in-wall surround :)

Master tub is in and the tub deck is being built for tiling and marble slab to go on top. Girls' tub is also in but not pictured.

Totally awesome concrete stairs leading down from deck off master bedroom. Great suggestion by our contractor Adam.

Same style of steps also go from back deck to back patio. Much cleaner look than traditional wood. Jim Zahnow and team are working on tile this week, will post pics of that this weekend.
